Dinna is Served

Hi friends. Did you miss us? We missed you. But we're back in action. You know why? Cause we're...............

MYTHICAL LEGENDS!!!!!!!

Just had a really good practice, working on some new songs that we are really excited about. But what's the most exciting right now is sharing this fun dinner story we made tonight with you.

It goes a little something like this y'all:

There once was a butternut squash. He was happy in a pot with his other half who has a garlic for a face instead of an egg. Also, he was hanging out with carrots and cardamom pods. It was great.

But then we had to cut his face open so we could eat him. He was sad.

But we were happy. With Tito. And Speedy's tank. And rad pictures behind us.

And we ate cheese stuffed dates with the rest of our delicious Rioja. And Brad ate opera cake while we talked about the hand limb sex toy that I don't like. But not because it's a sex toy. Because it's just really ugly. But I would never use it either.

Do you like Speedy? He's a handsome turtle.

Bye. talk to you later.

Our Block

If you could have any celebrity living on your block, which ones would you choose? We are heavily discussing the situation and it's pretty tough. There is so much to take into consideration. So much. Bug says: "Good neighbors, I just want people who are going to be good neighbors." It's true. It is. This is the ten we've come up with on the fly:

*Meryl Streep
*Little Richard
*Whoopi Goldberg
*Mos Def/Method Man (there was a lot of discussion about this, there was a trade. That's why it's written differently)
*Bill Murray
*Diane Rehm
*David Letterman
*Beyonce
*neil Young (aka god)
*Jet Li

Fun Game.

Ninja Karate

So when we found this one building in Williamsburg that had this cool piece of art we went in to check it out. Then we walked on down the hall.........
And found a magical elevator that took us to an abandoned still under construction rooftop penthouse where we hung out and tagged our name in rocks and did this.....Ninja karate:

Want to roll with us? Yeah you do. Notice how in Bug's karate video there are some rocks lined up by her feet....they spell Mythical Legends like this when we wrote it. What a beautiful day!

Wow!

This is so great.

so great.

Communication Amongst Our Belongings

Bug and I share a lot. Feelings, a band, eggs, hummus, a bedroom....I could go on. Recently, we've both been doing a lot of traveling around (which explains the lack of posting) and have been sharing a travel suitcase. I had bought this toothbrush on a journey and left it in the bag on accident....I'm sorry! Anyway, Bug found it and had a conversation with it and passed the word on to me through a letter that I came home to yesterday. I wanted to share this letter with you so that you remember that your belongings have feelings too, try to keep that in mind. This is what it said:

Hello Dear Catherine,
It's been a while. You forgot to take me out of your suitcase you lent your friend Tania. Since then, I have gone on adventures with her and eavesdropped on countless conversations. She's nice. She found me snug in one of the zip-up pockets and took me out. We smiled at each other and she stroked my bristles and put the tip of her finger in my mouth (that part felt weird, but I understood and it was ok). Upon returning to Brooklyn, much to my chagrin, I had discovered I had been replaced by an electric toothbrush. Tania told me you had fallen in love with it. I know I can't compete. Even though this news had saddened me, I am happy for you. It is not my fault I am young and still have long before I can mature, if I ever mature at all. I know the electric toothbrush had given you in two weeks what I have not been able to give in a lifetime, healthy gums. So I bid thee farewell my dear Catherine......fare thee well.

So I felt horrible at first. Then so proud of him for being so mature about the situation, he really has grown up a bit. He is happier now that he lives on the bureau with Johnny the white rabbit. It just goes to show, toothbrushes, spoons, fans, even small tupperware containers are paying attention to your behavior and how you treat them. Please don't forget this and just hope that if you do slip up and become a fair bit neglectful, I hope they will be as understanding as my friend here.

And electric toothbrushes are kind of my new favorite thing. You don't have to do anything but move it around!

A very Special day

We had a Mythical Day yesterday. Bicycles, World Cup, beer, music, friends, french fries, weird art, kung fu on rooftops, adventures through a discovered fort place/penthouse, and tagging it up....

oh yeah, we had banana cream pie too, but Bug said it was too whipped creamy and I disagree.

It's so nice to just head out with no plan and see where the wind takes you. Brooklyn is the best place to do that too. We hope you can find some time to just go out and have a good day, whether by your self or with a good friend; it's imperative to progress.

Mythical Legends World Famous Friendship Guacamole!!!!!

Makes just the right amount to share with a friend

2 avocados

1 garlic clove

1/3 medium sized red onion

enough picked cilantro leaves to fit in the palm of a small adult hand

3 small not very juicy limes or 2 medium juicy ones

½ a medium roma or vine-ripened tomato chopped into pieces the size of a small adult thumb nail

One friend mashes the garlic clove and puts it in the serving bowl

the other friend thinly slices and dices the red onion into bite size little pieces and puts it in the bowl too

that same friend also picks the cilantro and cuts it up then puts it in the bowl

the other friend cuts the tomato and adds it to the bowl

this friend is also the one who opens the avocados, removes the pits and cuts them into the bowl in nice size pieces and mashes it up with a fork without making it too smooth, as some chunks are good

Both friends cut and squeeze the limes into the guacamole, together, making sure it tastes as limey as they both would like it to be

Add salt to both friends liking

The Mythical Legends World Famous Friendship Guacamole is great on tortilla chips, but also very good on sliced cucumber or endive leaves or to even dip carrots and celery in too!

First Post.

Hello friends. Poppy here. We are starting an official Mythical Legends blog so that we can share our exciting new projects with you. I've moved into the Clubhouse and the recording is going well. Cannot wait to let you all hear it! This is a really exciting time in our lives and we welcome you on this trip with us.

today we starting writing our second letter to Lil' Wayne currently incarcerated in New York City. Hopefully, we'll hear back from him this time. In case you haven't seen it this is our cover of "Drop the World" we did as a tribute to him:

Right now Bug is editing on Special Friend, a song very close to my heart. Okay, more later. Stay tuned!
